Description

After narrowly escaping Mystic Hollow last Habboween, a mysterious spell sends you back to this decrepit little town, except things look a little different, a little… older. Legends speak of a coven of witches that once fed off chaos by trapping all those who pass through town. The only way out is to eliminate enough cursed objects in the town.

Double the trouble, triple the fright… the witches are hunting tonight!

How to Get to the Event

Enter the BaW hub, then step on the circle in front of the spell book. You will be warped to the Lobby if the event is running. Grab a ticket, and you're good to go if the event is being run!

Game Rules

You play as a townsfolk. The goal of the game is to return a set number of cursed objects to the giant pumpkin in the middle of the Town Square. You will be hunted by witches - they have powers to send you back to jail! The game lasts 10 minutes - turn in enough objects with your teammates to win the game!

Cursed Objects

Cursed objects are spread out throughout the map inside of buildings. Stand next to them to grab them, then head back to the Town Square to turn the item in. If an object is glowing, it’s a cursed object.

Power Ups

Townsfolk

Townsfolk have two power ups to help them in this event: Hearth Home and Prayer Duo.

Hearth Home

When no witches are in the same map as you, click yourself to hearth back to Town Square.

Prayer Duo

When in the same room as a witch - except for Town Square - stand near a fellow townsfolk, click them, then get them to confirm. You will be able to cast a stun spell on the witch, potentially saving a fellow townsfolk from capture!

You will need to click the witches’ heads to target them.

Witches

Stun

Witches can cast an AoE spell from across the room - if one of the beams hits you, you’ll be stunned for 3 seconds.

You will need to click your head to click yourself - it’s an effect issue.

Send to Jail

If witches tag you while close by, you will be sent back to the Town Square. You will have to wait 90 seconds before a fellow townsfolk lets you out.

We really hope you enjoy this event - we’ll be doing our best to host both scheduled and unscheduled events. The best place to find when these are happening is to check the BaW lobby for scheduled events. We will also be tuning the balancing of this game as the event goes on so that it’s fair for everyone who makes an attempt.
