About the 180-day rule

Since our latest Terms of Service update, quite a few of you have spotted this part of Section 8 and asked what it means:

“We may terminate your license to the Service or otherwise suspend your account […] if: […] (B) you have not accessed your account for 180 days”

First things first: your account won't automatically be suspended or closed just because you haven't logged in for 180 days.

A clause like this has been part of Habbo's Terms of Service for many years – it wasn’t added recently.

The important word here is “may”. Section 8 sets out circumstances in which we reserve the right to take action. It doesn't mean that accounts are automatically suspended or terminated when they reach 180 days of inactivity.

We're sorry for any confusion caused.
