You may have seen today’s announcement that Pocket Worlds has acquired Hotel Hideaway. We wish the Hideaway team and community all the best for what comes next!

Habbo and Habbo Hotel: Origins are not part of that transaction, and there is no change to either game’s ownership as a result of it.

Your account, your furni, your credits, your Collectibles and your HC are all exactly as they were yesterday, and nothing about how you play, trade or get support is changing.

If you play Hotel Hideaway, everything to do with your Hotel Hideaway account is being handled by the Hideaway team, and their own channels and customer service portal are the best place to ask about it.

For us, the focus is clear: we’re putting our full energy into Habbo and Habbo Hotel: Origins, and we’re committed to investing in their future. 

We want to give you more reasons to log in, explore, create and spend time together, whether you’ve been here for twenty years or are discovering Habbo for the first time.

At the start of 2026 we set out the Fixing the Foundations roadmap, and since then we’ve shipped:

• Habbicons, the new collecting and progression feature • Chests, combined with Wired transactions, with more Wired improvements to follow • The Marketplace rework, along with removing the Trading Pass and Travelling Salesman requirements • A brand new badge rarity system • And many, many more quality of life fixes and improvements

The next big one is the Navigator overhaul and a significant change to the way we fight bots. Those are the largest things left on this year's list and we’re still aiming to roll them out before the end of 2026 as promised. Alongside it, work on the mobile app and beta client carries on in the background.

There’s plenty more we want to do. Your feedback, creativity and the experiences you build help shape where we go next, and we want to keep giving you better tools and more opportunities to make Habbo your own.
