[BaW] The Great Summer Escape Building Competition Results

After lengthy deliberation and an overwhelming 200+ entries to the competition, the results are in!

Your first-place winner is…

1. Sencha

Immediately upon entering the room, we were hit by the lovely warmth of your colour selection in your build. Your efforts in creating interesting stacks, from the netting on the bottom to the structure of your platforms were commendable! Your stacked background didn’t go unnoticed! Overall, a thoughtfully cohesive summer escape. Congratulations! A well-deserved win!

2. Okeefinokee

Such an incredibly detailed capture of summer in Mykonos. The choices in your colour palette really encapsulate the vibe of the island. We especially love the little detail of the staircase from the new lighthouse and the frothiness of the waves in your water. All the bots look adequately dressed for this summer party!

3. Oivind (tied)

A perfect little whimsical escape. We loved all the little details in the nooks and crannies of your build like the power lines, lanterns, light direction, and windowscapes. Expert use of out-of-the-box furnis like the hockey sticks that you’ve scattered about as parts of your tree. We are blown away!

We loved the monochromatic direction in your build and how you carried that throughout in all your furni choices. Your use of wall items in your walls and floor are masterfully placed. So many pretty moments in your build from the use of the florals in the dresser and your stacking to create the effect of a pink sun. Gorgeous build!

5. dudufish

Such a cool concept for your summer escape! We loved your vision of a chilly fridge and you captured this perfectly with your use of the fog wafting out and the clever selection of wall furni to create fun magnets. The cute stack for the hat on your bear really topped it off!

We loved the intricacy of the frame you created and the cool shape in the little fishing hut. Your intentional choices in furni and its relevance to the fish theme are spot on.
