Hello, Habbos!

Thank you to everyone in the community who fed back on how the We’ve read your messages across Discord and social media, and one thing came through clearly: this change asks a lot of you, and it didn’t give you much time to adjust.

This was a difficult, but necessary change to make. Chance games have been part of Habbo for years, and losing them costs us too – they fill rooms, bring people together and keep the Hotel busy.

But gambling laws are getting stricter in several of the countries our hotels serve, and some of them cover free raffles and giveaways as well as paid ones. With Habbos from all over the world playing in the same rooms, doing nothing isn’t an option.

What we can do is give the change the time it needs. The extra time is for two things:

• For us: to work out, with you, ways to make building and hosting events and activities as easy as it can be when the rule takes effect.

• For you: to adjust, try out games of skill and tell us what you need to make them work.

Where we are

The rest of the Some of the best games in Habbo put players to the test. Habbo already has the tools to build fantastic skill games, and prizes for skill are fully within the rules, as long as the game is free to enter. We’re working on ideas to help with this, and we’ll share them with you before anything is decided.

We’re all in this together, and we’d rather get it right with you than rush it out.
