Lately we've noticed more discussion within the community about hacked accounts and phishing attempts, so we wanted to remind you all about one of the simplest, most effective tools you have to keep your Habbo account safe: two-factor authentication (2FA).

Enabling 2FA takes a few minutes and removes almost all of the risk that comes from a leaked or guessed password.

🛑 Scammers don't stay still, and neither should you

These habits can help significantly:

• Never visit websites promoted in-game promising free furni, credits, or diamonds – Habbo will never ask you to do this to claim a prize.

• Don't click links from people you don't know, even if they claim to be giving something away. These links often contain malicious software that can steal login details from your computer.

• Be wary of shady Discord servers you haven't personally verified, especially ones offering "exclusive" trades, rares, or currency.

• If a giveaway looks unusually generous or is pressuring you to act fast, check it carefully before engaging with it.
